Christmas is here. This time should be, what most Danes think is the coziest time of the year, with traditions such as decorated Christmas trees and gifts bought with love, that are distributed after Christmas carols have been sung and with full stomachs. But for me there are other things that that preoccupy me in this time.
My life partner Dolly, my 24/7/365 slave died after a tragic accident and it is my duty to say goodbye to her properly and see her off. Dolly dedicated her life to me as a slave and that meant moving into my home, to make sure she could take care of all my needs as a good and obedient slave. This commits to the end, but we reached it earlier than intended and now we are here. There is never a convenient time for this, and now I’m responsible for Dolly’s things being sorted and donated while Christmas presents are being wrapped for the grandchildren, the flowers for the coffin are being ordered.
Should the coffin be plain and simple like Dolly’s view of life as a witch and with the faith she carried in her heart? Should she be spread out into nature where she felt the most free? Yes, we follow her last wish and are happy that Dolly has now found peace. Honored be her memory and Merry Christmas.
